No one knows when the goblins became catholic. They might have been for all of their existence. Big folks only recently became aware of it when a new pontiff was elected from among the western goblins. To the humans of the west Innocent CXIV was previously known as "Stinker the Brigand", a cunning goblin bandit. Ever since he became goblin pope he has been sending financial aid and ordering his missionaries to build infrastructure for "those poor humans". This has greatly offended many a people and the lords finally decided to put a 10'000 gp bounty on his head.

Only, no human knows where the Holy City Goblin City State lies. They say all goblin lairs and caves lead to Goblome. Rumors say Innocent is guarded by thousands of loyal followers but will even speak with human petitioners if they "desire true and eternal peace in their small human hearts".

The Poison: Unhallow

Invented by a particularly insidious cult who insisted that God should die screaming, Unhallow is a potent weapon against religious figures. While the cult that created it was swiftly wiped out by a brutal inquisition, the recipe for its creation spread amongst assassins and alchemists. The rarity of its primary ingredient makes it expensive, but its efficacy is worth the cost.

Unhallow is made from the fat of an angel, rendered over the course of a week and a day in a vat of black iron. At the end of this time, many poisonous herbs and berries are mixed into the tallow, turning it a deep scarlet color. A wick of human hair is then dipped into the mixture to create a large candle. When burnt, all creatures who can smell its smoke must Save v. Petrification or turn into a pillar of salt. This save takes a penalty based on the number of Cleric levels the affected creature has, or some other measure of their nearness to the divine.

The New Victim: Sir Jonathan Griswell, Esq.

A lawyer and knight of the Space British Empire, Griswell spends most of his time exploring the far reaches of space in his personal pleasure yacht/spaceship. Condescending and rude, he has made more enemies than friends amongst the bon ton of the Empire, and the fact that he’s so good at finding loopholes in people’s legal attacks on him only makes the whole thing worse. Many people would be much happier with him dead, especially given the large fortune he has willed to “whomever has the bollocks to actually kill me”.

However, he is well protected by a coterie of psychic bodyguards who predict any attack before it happens, as well as a corps of elite food-tasters. He often hosts large parties to flaunt his magnificent wealth, dancing and drinking freely in absolute confidence of his safeguards.

Tagging Stella to figure out a way to kill the smuggest bastard in all of Space Britain.
